RBAI u13 7-51 ERGS
After a disappointing display the previous week , the U13 squad had a much improved performance today.
After a nervous start with a couple of early handling errors in the cold and windy conditions, they soon asserted their dominance with strong carries by the forwards, before releasing centre McKenzie to score the first of his 3 tries. G Gamble had a great game stealing possession at numerous breakdowns and also broke through the opposition defence for 3 tries. The game became very fractured with RBAI stoppages , but to their credit the ERGS boys stuck to their task and were clinical in difficult conditions . A back line move straight off the training pitch was finished by left wing B Wallace. Rowland on the other wing was unfortunate not to get on the score sheet but looked a threat when given the ball. Keown ,Mannix ,Morrison and Curry ran hard and offloaded possession well all game . A great all round team effort was finished off by scrum half Beddard sniping over for the final try .
