Delighted to report the success of the GSCE and A level students at Fermanagh Feis on Wednesday 3rd April.
In the Acted Scene
Y12 won 1st place with their version of the greek classic Antigone. The adjudicator commented on the ‘fluid story telling, moving performance tackled by a talented cast’
Y13 won 2nd place with an extract from A Taste of Honey which the adjudicator praised for its’ emotional depth and well directed use of the dramatic space’
In the monologues section all the Enniskillen Royal pupils performed monologues from classic Shakespeare texts much to the delight of the adjudicator.
Highly commended certificates went to Megan Rodgers and Charlotte McCutcheon Y13
3rd prize to Hannah Davis Kuntz Y13
Joint 1st place to William Manley and Fen Columb Halliwell for their contrasting take on a Macbeth monologue. Well done to all the competitors on their hard work and creative performances. Special mention Isabelle Martin, who designed the costumes for Antigone. The adjudicator specifically mentioned how excellent they were at setting the scene.
