On Thursday 30th November the Fermanagh Voluntary Welfare Group will be holding a Carol Service to celebrate their 40th Anniversary. Enniskillen Royal Grammar School will be performing with a Senior Choral Group under the Musical Direction of Mrs A Bloomfield. St Michael’s College choir will also be performing with their own choir and in the final choral piece the two schools will combine to perform a beautiful version of ‘The First Noel with Pachelbel’s Canon’. Pictured are the choral groups during rehearsal on Wednesday 28th November at the Methodist Church. It has been a pleasure to work alongside both Mrs Grainne Hanratty (Head of Music at St Michael’s College) as well as Miss Carina Ferguson and we are looking forward to singing together as part of this special community event. Special thanks go to flautists Rebekah Cuthbertson and Emma-Leah Peters who are playing along with the full choral group. An extra special thank you also goes to Emma-Leah who will provide piano accompaniment for the ERGS choir. The Carols will be led by Murley Silver Band under the direction of Mrs A Bloomfield. Everyone is welcome to attend.
