Our Yr12 GCSE Geographers headed out today to complete their geography fieldwork data collection on the upper course of the Silees River at its source region of Lough Navar Forest Park and Derrygonnelly. The higher than normal discharge and freezing waters made for some challenging but seemingly enjoyable conditions. Despite numerous overtopped wellies and soggy feet the day proved to be success and we can now look forward to crunching the numbers over the next few weeks as we prepare for the pending examinations.
