On Friday 11 October 2019, two girls’ teams took part in an Indoor Football Competition in Omagh.
The Year 10/11 team played well in their group stage but did not qualify for the knock out stages.
The Year 8/9 team did progress out of the group stage to the semi finals, having beaten Cookstown, Omagh High and Drumragh.
In the semi-final they beat Castlederg 3-1 on penalties.
These were scored by Leah Irwin, Freya Brennan and Ruby Cobain with an excellent save made by goalkeeper, Hannah O Connor Burke.
Eva Johnston and Evie Morrison played very well too.
In the final, the girls beat Holy Cross 2-0.
The victorious team now represent Fermanagh & Tyrone in the NI Finals in Belfast in November.
The goal scorers overall were Leah Irwin with 10 goals, Freya Brennan with 3 goals, and Ruby Cobain with one.
