Yet another wild and woolly day in Craigavon for this weeks Leg of the Show Jumping League. Just the two riders this week, and how well did they do!!
Erin Wallace on Bess was jumping in the 75cm event this week. The pair were confident from the off, comfortable with each other. They jumped the fences beautifully. In the first phase, they were going strong but clipped a pole, incurring 4 faults. In the timed phase however, the pair were on fire…flying around the course in a very speedy 25.17 seconds. A super effort from these two, well done.
Rebecca-Jane Woods on Billy the Kid was jumping in the 85cm event. After a bit of a wait, due to many extra riders registering late, the two trotted happily into the arena. They had a strong first phase, jumping with ease. In the timed phase, the pair had really mapped out their route, knowing where to cut corners to save time. They finished with a super time of 27.24 and a double clear.
A great day for the two riders – well done to them both.
Next event will be Leg 4 on Saturday 29th October.
