U14s travelled to Omagh HS to play their first match of the season. Omagh started the stronger, peppering the goal with shots thankfully off target. However, as the team settled and confidence grew the play started to even out. The start of the second half saw ERGS came out the stronger and they came very close to scoring on three occasions. However the Omagh goal keeper had a very strong game. Unfortunately with two minutes to go, Omagh broke out of defence and scored a break away goal. Final score was 1-0 to Omagh High School. The ERGS girls can be very proud of themselves as it was a very good performance for their first outing; they were unlucky not to get a score.
