16 of our aspiring dentists, nurses and doctors were put through their paces by the Year 14 Performing Arts class and Mrs Rees, in preparation for Mini Multiple Interviews.
This style of interview is very common for university entrance in the medical professions and is a model that other degree courses are beginning to adopt. Rather than one straight forward interview, the aspiring students were given 4 minutes at 14 different stations to complete a range of high pressure scenarios and tasks including role plays, testing their communication skills, dexterity, empathy, medical and ethical knowledge.Grace Kettyle, who is applying for medicine said:
‘It provided excellent preparation for the real thing’
We wish all the students every success with their applications and interviews over the coming months.
