On Friday 12th January, ERGS Minor Netball team played their 2nd League match. This was against Drumragh Integrated College, Omagh, at the Forum.
The girls played the first two quarters very strongly, dominating play and going 3-2 up. During the 3rd quarter, there were a lot of substitutions and despite all efforts, Drumragh inched ahead by 6-4 in a great turnaround of play by the visiting team. In the final quarter, once again we dominated the play but just could not slot in the goals. A disappointing result for ERGS, but one from which a lot of learning can be taken from.
The team next play on Thursday 18th January alongside their Inter schoolmates against Sacred Heart College, Omagh. Hopefully their fortunes will be brighter.
