In Term 2 our School Council raised £1875 as a result of their non-uniform day and a raffle. Over the past few weeks, representatives from School Council have handed over the proceeds from these fundraising events. Mr Gerry Hughes, a committee member with the Fermanagh Branch of Road Safe NI came into school to receive a cheque for £625. Last Monday, a delegation from School Council accompanied Miss Armstrong and Mrs Kettyle to the Air Ambulance base at Lisburn where they were given a tour of the facilities and introduced to the pilot and medical personnel who gratefully accepted their £625 donation. Then on Thursday, a group of School Council members had a tour of the new RNLI station at Killadeas where Peter Scott received £625 on behalf of the organisation. Thank you to the whole school community for their support in raising funds for these worthy organisations.
