Please see below a letter from the Chief Medical Officer, Professor Sir Michael McBride, highlighting the revised arrangements in respect of contact tracing in the event of a positive case of COVID 19 in our school community. From 8am this morning, Friday 10th September 2021, a more targeted programme of contact tracing will be carried out by the PHA in the event of a positive case of COVID 19. We ask that you continue to inform school if you son/daughter tests positive or is identified as a close contact for the purposes of accurate attendance recording and to ensure that we have appropriate teaching and learning in place for them.
May I take this opportunity on behalf of myself and my senior colleagues to thank you for your grace and patience as we worked together with you through the contact tracing procedures since the beginning of term. Your co-operation and support are much valued.
