During the summer term, the KS3 Geographers got involved in the ‘Send My Friend to School’ campaign. There is a global education crisis; 263 million children are out of school and many of those who are in school are not learning. Pupils at ERGS are taking action to make world leaders do more. At the current rate of progress it will be 2084 before every child is in school. That’s over 50 years later than promised. The jigsaw pieces that pupils have decorated and written their messages on will be sent to our local MP Michelle Gildernew who will pass them on to the Prime Minister, Theresa May. We await her reply with anticipation!
