Three days into their tour, the 42 man squad of senior rugby boys have been made extremely welcome in Cape Town and Paarl. Hosted by Paarl Boys High on Sunday and Monday and playing their first two games of competitive rugby on Monday afternoon against the 3rd rated school in South Africa, the boys gave a fantastic account of themselves resulting in a 29-12 loss for the U18 squad and a hard fought 19-19 draw for the U16s. Tuesday has been a day of recovery in and around the stunning Cape Town VA Waterfront complex in the shadow of Table Mountain and as the boys bed down the night they are looking forward to heading east tomorrow towards Mossel Bay for game two and a few safaris and game drives.
