On Friday 27/4/18, the Boys U14 Football Team beat St Joseph’s College from Belfast 7-2 to win the NISFA Plate.
The boys produced an excellent display of skilful football. Their teamwork was superb and each boy in the squad gave 100%!!
Goals were scored by Jack Ovens (3), Lloyd Dane- Evans (2) Reece Byrne (1) and Jamal Tavares (1).
When the boys were winning 3-2, Reece Holmes pulled off a great save to prevent St Joseph’s equalising. The boys then went on from strength to strength and thoroughly deserved their victory. Special credit must be given to Mr G Dickson who coached the team and prepared them thoroughly for each match. Congratulations to all involved!!
