Valiant display by our 3rd XV today against a very strong Ballymena side in the Cup Quarter Final.

Tries by Andrew Martin and Louie Burns either side of half time kept ERGS within touching distance but a strong second half wind favouring Ballymena made it difficult for ERGS to exit their half or build any sustained pressure.
A late try by Man of the Match Morgan Whittaker was just rewards for an excellent performance at scrum half. He also added two of three conversions.
A disappointing end to the season for the 3rd XV but many will be involved to some extent when the 2nds play BRA in the Plate Semi Final this Saturday.
