On Thursday 14 June over 50 yr11 pupils visited churches in Enniskillen as part of their GCSE RE Course.
They began in the Chapel where Monseigneur Peter O’Reilly spoke to the group and he then joined Dean Kenneth Hall in the Cathedral and both of them shared details of their cross-community work together.
It was then on to the Presbyterian Halls for break after which Rev David Cupples gave a talk. The pupils then went to the Salvation Army Halls where Mr Simon Wright spoke about their work with the homeless and needy before the pupils enjoyed some lunch.
The final visit was to the Stables Conference Centre where the pupils were able to see a baptismal tank and hear baptism described by Mr James Goldie.
The pupils were well-behaved throughout and a good time was had by all.
