23 Year 11 pupils took part in the Exchange trip to Germany from Friday 15th to Saturday 23rd September. They stayed with their German hosts who attend Brackweder Gymnasium, in Brackwede, a district in the city of Bielefeld. They were welcomed by the city and district mayor, invited to visit the State Parliament in Düsseldorf, and got to visit many interesting tourist attractions. They rode the Straßenbahn, did lots of shopping, and even got to visit the home of Dr. Oetker, which finished with free pizza and pudding galore!
They had an excellent week, and there were a quite a few tears when we had to say Auf Wiedersehen to our German partners.
