Thank you to Dylan Quinn Dance Theatre who were in school today to deliver a fantastic workshop on discrimination, prejudice and respect as part of our Yr8 CRED link with St Michael’s College ‘More that unites us than divides us’. The event ran three times during the day, each integrating year 8 pupils from both schools and challenging them to work together to explore the concepts of segregation and discrimination. The ultimate goal was to choreograph their own modern dance pieces which illustrated the idea of guarding against the negative influence of others and the importance of standing up for what you believe is right.
