Campbell lost the toss and were put into bat first. From 20 overs they scored 84-3 setting a bench mark for the Enniskillen XI. Best bowling statistics were from R Holmes 2-13 off 5 overs and A Beadle 1-11 off 5 overs, B Taggart & B McClaren also bagged a couple of impressive catches in the infield.
Enniskillen Royal’s innings started unfortunately with N Kelly being bowled first ball for a ‘Golden Duck’. D Smith & K Bothwell then redeemed matters with a solid partnership of 18. K Bothwell then continued to produced another significant knock of 12, running cheeky singles to keep the scoreboard ticking over nicely. D Smith & K Bothwell were both eventually dismissed by run-outs allowing D Love & A Beadle to come to the crease. Both scored well hitting numerous boundaries. D Love ended on 13 with A Beadle top scorer of the day on 15 including 3 fours. Despite a late charge, the ERGS XI ran out of overs & fell 8 runs short of the 86 target set scoring 78. Good game!!
