Youth Action NI are recruiting for the NCS Programme in Fermanagh and wondered if any of your students would be interested in this summer programme?
NCS is a great summer programme for 15 – 17 year olds.
The programme involves 2 Residentials,
1 – 27th June for 4 nights at St. Columb’s Park House in Derry – This includes loads of high adrenaline activities like canoeing/ Paddle boarding, climbing etc.
2 – 8th July for 4 nights at Tir Navar in Derrygonnelly – This is more skills based (young people to help shape this) and will have a mental health element of encouraging dialogue and get interested in flow activities and everything that helps mental health.
After this the young people decide on a social action project to carry out over the next 3 weeks. And then it all finishes with a big ceremony up in the City Hall Belfast on the 20th August.
