    ERGS Athletes Compete Well at E-Districts

    Friday 6th May saw over 80 athletes from acorss the school community take the long bus trip to the Antrim Forum for the annual E-District Athletics competition. Despite the long day and inclement weather, the athletes performed extremely well and were a credit to the school. Over 20 athletes have now  qualified for the next stage of the competition in a range of track and field disciplines, and will now compete on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st May at the Ulster Track & Field Athletics to be held once again at Antrim Forum.  Good luck to all involved!

    The E-District results for Friday 6th of May were as follows:-

    Mini Girls

    Cherys Robinson – 5th  – 100m

    Annabelle McKenzie – 2nd – 800m & High Jump

    Georgia Wilson – 6th – High Jump

    Poppie Beddard – 3rd – Long Jump
