This weekend the All Ireland Cross Country Championships were held at Necarne, Irvinstown. With 4 ERGS pupils running on the day, we were delighted to hear how successful they had been.
Yr12 Alex Irvine competed in his first All Ireland competition and performed admirably in the U18 classification. Yr11 Annabel McKenzie also put in a brave run amongst a challenging field of competitors.
Yr12 Harry McKenzie placed an impressive 3rd in the U18 class and 7th in the U20s, whilst Yr14 Annabel Morrison came 2nd for U18/20 combined which now qualifies her for the European Championships in Turkey on December 7th. Congratulations to all!
