On Friday 9 March 2018, Year 8 pupils visited the Cathedral Hall in Enniskillen to see some Biblical artefacts. They had the opportunity to try on Jewish clothing, see a model of the Temple in Jerusalem (destroyed in 70 AD by the Romans), blow a shofar horn, hear about life as a Roman soldier, and to discover what tent life was like in the desert 2000 years ago.
The pupils were fully engaged and asked some very perceptive questions. They enjoyed the afternoon’s activities and it was a very worthwhile visit for all concerned.
