Last week, Year 13 students travelled to Berlin for a joint German and History trip, accompanied by Mrs Donald and Dr McCallum. Clocking up thousands of steps every day as they roamed the city, students got to visit many of the key landmarks in Berlin and delve deeper in their understanding and appreciation of modern Germany history and culture. Highlights included a nuclear bunker tour, a visit to Sachsenhausen concentration camp memorial site, and the interactive DDR Museum. Museums covering WW2 and Cold War era events and key figures linked closely with both GCSE and A Level German and History specifications. There was also plenty of time to soak up the sun, shop for souvenirs and sample a Currywurst or a Brezel! ... See MoreSee Less
Year 8 Trip – Lough Key Forest Park 🌳
Year 8 pupils enjoyed an action-packed day on Friday, at Lough Key Forest Park in Boyle, Co. Roscommon. They embraced the challenge of solving clues in the ‘Boda Borg’ escape rooms before taking part in an orienteering activity through the beautiful forest trails. It was a great day of fun and teamwork.
A lovely way to end the year! 🌿🌳✨
