A massive congratulations to Yr8 Pupil Poppie Beddard who, during the bank holiday weekend, travelled to Southampton to represent Northern Ireland in the Acro Gymnastics Inter-regional Championships with her team mates from Splitz Gymnastics Enniskillen. Poppie, as the ‘top’ of an acro trio, had previously qualified in the Northern Irelands and travelled to Southampton to take on trios from across the England, Scotland and Wales. Although they did not medal on the day the experience was fantastic and the girls performed admirably, placing first in Northern Ireland in their classification. Another superb bit of news from our school community and a huge congratulations to Poppie and all her acro squad mates at Splitz Gymnastics.
