Ellie Dunlop aged 15, who swims with the Enniskillen Lakelanders, travelled to Swansea as part of the Ulster Regional Squad to take part in her first offshore International meet back on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th March at Wales National Pool, Swansea.
Ellie competed in the 50m, 100m, 200m Breaststrokes, 50m Butterfly and 200 IM.
Ellie was delighted to finish in 2nd place in the 50m Breaststroke, winning a silver medal with a new pb, she was placed 4th in 100m Breaststroke, 6th in 200m Breaststroke, with top twenty finishes in the 50m Butterfly and 200IM.
This weekend was a golden opportunity to gain experience at this level of competition.
Ellie is looking forward to competing this week for the first time, in the McCullagh International Open from Thursday 11th April to Sunday 14th April at the Aurora Aquatic and Leisure Complex, Bangor.
