Congratulations to Year 10 pupil Ellie McCartney won two Ulster Open Women’s Titles one the weekend at the Ulster Short Course Championships at Lagan Valley LeisurePlex in Lisburn.
The 13 year old beat off swimmers aged up to 20 to win the 100m & 200m Breaststroke Titles. She also was the top Junior swimmer in these strokes as well as 100m Individual Medley and 200m IM as well as 4th spot overall in the 50m Breaststroke and 400m IM.
Kealan McShea and Lewis McCartney also produced personal bests in a tough field of competitors.
They have all qualified for the Irish Short Course Championships in 3 weeks.
