Huge congratulations to Yr12 pupil Robbie Mills who won the Impartial Reporter’s Young Sports Personality of the year 2017, for his successes in Rowing and Rugby this weekend. A great achievement showing how two sports can work together to bring out the best in an individual.
A number of ERGS pupils including Yr11 Casey Howe and Yr12 Zoe McCutcheon were also nominated for the award and were able to enjoy the evenings celebrations.
The Boat Club was awarded ‘The Outstanding Achievement Award’ for their success in 2017 and Yr9 swimmer Ellie McCartney won ‘Star of the Future’.
A fantastic achievement by all those involved.
