Year 9 Geographers were asked to create a pop up volcano to help aid their knowledge of the different parts of a volcano. These pupils in 9C showed excellent creativity. Daniel Rowsome created a Lego volcano and Laura Cashel made a model volcano. –  Mrs Armstrong

Year 10 Mathematicians, over the past few weeks have been learning about wages, salaries, tax, simple and compound interest, APR and budgeting. Having covered all of that they were then asked to use that knowledge and apply it to a Maths task called ‘Buying a Car’. They had to consider different options available to them, taking into account deposits, monthly payments and interest and decide which option was best and why. – Mrs McCordick
