The Expressive Arts department at Portora Royal School held their annual Summer concert back in June and it was a roaring success. The evening saw over 100 pupils taking part to a packed out Steele Hall, raising almost £1300 for the school’s trip to China which took place some weeks later. Between African drumming, ukuleles, a wind ensemble and stunning performances from the school Choir, Brass and Performing Arts students, as well as a one off production of ‘The Portora Story’ written and directed by Mrs Mary McDowell, there really was something for everyone! This snippet features Callum Clements performing his GCSE Ensemble piece ‘Fever’ on the night alongside some very talented pupils from the neighbouring Collegiate Grammar School – a taste of what is to come with the amalgamation to the Enniskillen Royal Grammar School. Enjoy.”
