Despite showing tremendous resilience and fighting back to a 12-12 draw at half time with scores from Paul Curry, George Gamble and a conversion by Matthew Mannix; the Ballyclare side, on home turf, got a few lucky breaks in the final 10 minutes of the second half to take the lead, and ultimately win the contest 24-12.
A tough day and exhausting day at the office, but a huge effort by our Yr11 boys who stayed in the fight to the very end and did us all proud.
We now wish Ballyclare HS the best of luck as they progress to the semifinals against Methodist College.
