    Success for Junior Rowers in Portadown

    Enniskillen Royal Boat Club claimed 7 wins at Portadown Regatta on Saturday 12th May with wins for Tim Murphy and Lewis Nixon in the single sculls, Lewis Nixon and Arron O’Donnell in MJ16 2x, there was also a win for the octuple MJ14 8x+, Tom Blake, Conor Richardson, Donn Corrigan, Joshua Martin, William Carrothers, Charlie Smith, Luke Paton, Tim Murphy and cox Georgia Maxwell and for the MJ14 4x+ Lewis Nixon, Charlie Smith, Luke Paton, Tim Murphy and cox Tom Blake

    The girls also performed well at the Regatta

    with wins for WJ15 4x+ Nikki Kernaghan, Abigail Ralph, Katie Corrigan and Martha McBrien with cox Georgia Maxwell and for WJ14 4x+. Rosie Pendry, Caitlin O’Hare, Keeva Corry, Enya Stewart and cox Grace Ralph.

    In a season that has seen so many races cancelled due to the weather it was great for the young crews to get some racing experience and all the medals made it even sweeter. Congratulations to all the rowers and coaches.
