The Boat Club had a very successful day at Carlow Regatta on Sunday with a total of 10 wins. This regatta was for the junior members of the club, many of them just started rowing this year.
Racing got underway at 07.30 on Sunday morning so it was an early start for the rowers and coaches some of whom travelled down on Saturday afternoon.
Tim Murphy won J14 1x and Lewis Nixon and Katie Donnelly both won their J15 1x categories.

The WJ15 A crew of Nikki Kernaghan, Katie Corrigan, Martha McBrien, Caragh Leonard and cox Georgia Maxwell along with the B crew of Abigail Ralph, Jenny Little, Ellie and Megan Livingstone and cox Grace Ralph both won their straight finals.
There were also wins for the WJ14 and WJ15 octuple crews.
Enya Stewart and Rosie Pendry won WJ14 2x
And J14 4x+ of Ben and Jack Corrigan, Dylan Howe, Kyle Abraham and cox Georgia Maxwell completed the tally for the day.
This regatta was great experience for the youngest members of the Club and they will build on this in the weeks leading up to the Irish Rowing Championships in Cork in July.
